[This past week, anyone trying to go to the okonomiyaki restaurant would find it closed, courtesy of the Malnosso kidnapping the owner and cook. However, that has changed today, today the restaurant is wide open, with a menu sheet on the door for everyone to see, it's the same menu as always though a lot of dishes seem to have been stroke out.

Inside there's one little monkey that goes for the name of Goku, doing his best to imitate all the things Ukyo does when she opens the restaurant, like cleaning and tidying up. He'll be more than ready to take food orders and will welcome everyone with a wide smile and a loud 'WELCOME TO UCCHAN'S OKONOMIYAKI RESTAURANT!'. Anyone feels daring enough to try this kid's food? Don't worry it's not poisonous, he can cook, but don't expect anything too complicated.]

[Later, in the afternoon, the journals will be greeted with a curious kid.]

Ne... Is Ucchan back yet?

[Rhetoric question, kind of, if she's back she will answer if not... Well, he won't get an answer, obviously. After a while more will be added to the feed.]

Does anyone know where can I get a home tutor? They are like teachers, right? Teach you things on your own, I don't wanna go to school but I wanna learn more things. Ginia-neesan is always writing but I'm still no good at understanding what she writes, I want to get better! Also I want to learn to write better to write to her too, she has a pretty handwriting! Ange-neesan too. And, and I want to write a letter to my friends. But if I do it now I'm sure Konzen will get angry because it's messy. I want to learn more than that too, so they will be impressed when they come here! So... Where can I get one of those home tutors? Please?

Ah! Also, how do you know if your flowers are thirsty? My Cosmos flowers are still babies inside their seeds so I can't look at them to know if they are thirsty or not.... I don't think I could know just by looking at them anyway, but the dirt in the pot seems dry. But I don't want to drown them! When I'm not thirsty I know I can't drink even another drop of water!

Oh, Ucchan's okonomiyaki restaurant is open again. I can take care of it while Ucchan is gone, I can't cook much but I'll do my best to make you delicious okonomiyaki!!

Yeah! And you're Ange-neesan. I like that more, 'sides some people say those other words in a way that sounds bad, you know? Human, heretic, youkai... They say it as if it's something bad to be or something. I don't like it, I haven't done anything bad... At least I think I haven't. And when I do something bad it's easier for me to know if people just say my name angrily or whatever, I never know for sure if they are talking about me otherwise.

[Adults and their need to have hundred of words to make themselves feel important.]

It's a little sad to use the way you call someone just to insult them, don't you think? [ sob, Ange has experience with being bullied, after all.. ] And it's no good to be insulted if you haven't even done anything. I'm sure you haven't done anything bad either, so everyone can just say Goku so you won't be confused over whether you did something bad or not, right?

That's true! Besides I like my name a lot, I don't want any other name, it's the one Konzen gave to me even if I don't know what it means. You like Ange too, right? I'm sure everybody likes their names.

[ She thinks for a moment. ] ... Well.. I think the name Goku usually means.. 'sky' or something like that. I could be off though.

And I guess my name is alright. It could have been worse, especially when you look at my family members' names. But still, 'Ange' is not really a normal name for a Japanese person, so people picked on me for it. [ among other things. ]

Sky? But I'm not big and blue...

[Why did Konzen give him that name? Goku frowns at what he hears next.]

What's a Japanese person and why can't they be named Ange? I like Ange's name, it's pretty like her! Where are the ones who picked on you for it? I'll beat them to pulp for doing bad things to you!

[And he's dangerously serious. See Ange, you did it wrong, you shouldn't have befriended magic stakes, you should have gotten a monkey boy as your friend and he would have broken the heads of the bullies in an instant.]

Maybe it was supposed to be more symbolic. ... Or maybe he just found it a pretty name, it could just be as easy as that. It doesn't mean you're exactly the same as the sky.

[ When he gets more fired up though.. she pauses for a moment, blinking at her journal in surprise. She didn't quite expect that kind of reaction, but.. well, it's so much like him all the same. Clearly she should just have gotten the monkey boy, it would have made her life a lot better. ]

... They're not here, Goku. Don't worry about it.

Symbolic? Of what?

[He hums lightly.]

He said it was just a name easy enough for even me to remember... So it doesn't have any meaning?

[He sounds kind of disappointed about that to be honest. But he still likes his name.

The kid hums again at her reply regarding the bullies, almost as if he doesn't believe it.]

Okay then... I guess I can't teach them a lesson if they aren't here. But if they come here tell me right away! I'll kick them in the head and teach them to not pick on you! Ange is a pretty name and you're pretty and really nice no matter if you're Japanese or whatever. They don't have the right to do anything bad to you, if anyone tries to I'll do bad things to them too and make them regret it all!

[That also goes for new bullies. And he hits really hard so it's better to pay ear to his warnings.]

Yeah, then maybe just that coudl be it. It sounds like a good reason for a name all the same though, since I don't think Goku is a bad name at all. It somewhat seems to suit you, just the feeling of it.

[ and jkgkhdfgfd, that last part is almost flustering her a bit, since.. well, Goku is a kid, but all the same, it's not like many people in her life have ever told her that much, that they would really do that just for her.. ]

You don't have to go that far for my sake. [ But there's actually something a little bit warm in her tone, a little bit grateful, and she can't help but let it slip out a little. ] Even if they would be here, I can handle it. If you don't pay attention to them, they give up sooner or later since you're not amusing to them anymore in that case.

You think it suits me? Because it's simple and short?

[Well, he has been told he's pretty simple several times, and he admits he prefers things being simple than being too complicated, so he doesn't take it badly. Still, he would have liked his name to have a pretty meaning after all.]

But what if they don't? I don't like it. I don't want anyone talking badly about the people I care for, or picking on them, or anything! They probably don't even really know you, but they still dare to judge and talk badly or pick on you, as if they were better or superior! I don't like people like that, they don't deserve to just be ignored, they need to learn a lesson! It's people like that who end thinking that others are there just to be used by them, and that no one is as worthy as them!

I like this place because there aren't any people like that, or at least I haven't met them. If any of those bad people dare to come here, I'll teach them a lesson. They don't have any right to even try to hurt you, even if you're strong, I'll beat them to pulp!

[And that's final. The kid seems pretty set on this idea, it's quite personal for him.]

No, not exactly because it's simple and short. It's hard to explain, but.. I just think it suits you. Sometimes it's hard for someone to explain why exactly they like something, right? They just do.

[ oh, she knows she probably can't convince him otherwise. And.. well, there's still something that's a little nice over this kid willing to protect her. Especially compared to her own lonely school days, when she only had Maria and later on the stakes to talk to.. ]

... You're a good kid, Goku. Thank you. [ and she would prefer to handle anything herself, and probably will try to handle anything herself here too either way, but all the same, maybe to play along a little.. (She does sound at least a little playful as she says it. A little, since this is Ange, after all.) ] I'll be relying on you from now on then, okay?

Oh! I get it! Like with food, right? I know when I like something and is delicious and tasty but I can't explain why to others no matter how much I try! It's better to just taste it oneself then.

[He scratches his head.]

I can't really taste my own name though. But I like it even without tasting it, because it's my name, and I really wanted one when I asked Konzen for it. With it I can tell people who I am and they can call me, they'll know who I am. It was a bit sad when I didn't have one, and I didn't like not being able to tell Nataku who I was.

[The playful tone flies over his head, as well as the point that she may be just playing along. She'll be relying on him? That's huge responsibility!]

Ah, okay!! I'll take really good care of you Ange-neesan! I'll protect you as much as I can too! Don't worry about it!

Hm. Yeah, it's a good name. You should be pretty proud of it, you're the only Goku I know, after all.

[ sngdkfhgf, abubububu, Goku is the most precious.. She nods a little to herself. ]

Don't overdo it though, okay? I wouldn't be very happy if you managed to get yourself hurt or in danger of any kind, especially not because of me.

Really? But there's another Goku here! He's older, a whole adult. Maybe you'll meet him one day... Still I want to be your favorite, can I?

[He likes the other Goku, but he doesn't want to have to compete for friends.]

It's okay! I won't overdo it, I promise. If I overdo it and get tired or hurt I wouldn't be able to keep taking care of you after all! I'll stay all healthy and strong for you.

You can, if you want it that badly. I promise that even if I meet other kinds of Goku, you'll always be my favorite.

If you do it just for me, I might get a little too flattered. Just try to take good care of yourself in general too, okay? Not just for me.

Yess! I want it! Ange-neesan will also be my favorite ever! And the prettiest!

Oh, sure, I've to take good care of myself to be able to take good care of you, right? I get it, it makes sense, I won't get sick ever again!
