But no matter where you are or what you are doing, there's a little monkey running wildly all around the village and he has his eyes set on YOU. Be prepared to be intercepted in your path, or interrupted in your rest, or assaulted at your store or have a kid knocking on your door. This monkey is going to be everywhere since early morning, running around with the energy of thousand of blazing suns. And to everyone and anyone he meets, he will address them with the same line and a bright smile before handing them a pamphlet.]

[Goku's just going for a walk around town when a little kid hands him a pamphlet. Somewhat confused, but interested by the prospect of more food, he reads it over.]

You know, I've heard about this place! I've been meaning to stop by, but there's so much great food here that I got distracted. I'll definitely go there as soon as I can!

Ucchan is the owner of the restaurant. She's very cute and nice and makes delicious food! Just seeing her cook is great!

No, that's me. I'm Goku. Son Goku! It's the name Konzen gave me, I made those so I approve this message, see?

You've been to heaven? What's it like? [Goku's been to the afterlife before, but he's always skipped out on going to heaven since the training isn't as good there.]

Well, he raised me from when I was a baby! He was really nice, kinda like a dad to me! ...He died a while ago, but I'm sure he's still proud of me. That's what he said when Baba brought him down from heaven for a day, anyways!

Though it was a bit fun when Ken-niichan, Ten-chan, Konzen and Nataku were around.

He was brought down from heaven? Why was he up there and you weren't? Did he die there?

Well, I've never been to heaven myself, and I dunno if you can die there.

My grandpa died years ago in some kinda accident, but this old lady, Baba, brought him to Earth for a day 'cause he wanted to see me again. He could only stay for that one day, but he didn't mind, 'cause he really likes it in heaven! [What a shock, huh?]

So he died and he went to heaven? But that can't be, if it was that way heaven would be full of dead people!

[And it wasn't, at least he never saw anyone dead or anything similar.]

Hm... [Well, that definitely threw Goku off. He always thought of heaven as the place where dead people go - there aren't too many who would live there, so to speak, under normal circumstances.]

I dunno, maybe heaven works differently where you're from?

I dunno. Maybe each universe has its own version of heaven, an' they're all different? I mean, there's a lot of Earths out there, from what I've heard, and none of 'em sound like the one that I came from!

Then you can only go to your heaven when you die? That's not cool.

[Neither fair, it means this Goku hasn't been able to see his grandpa except that one time.]

Well, yeah. But I wouldn't want to wish him back to life if it'd make him unhappy. Plus I know that I'll see him again eventually! [He'll die in a way that he can't be brought back from at some point; the whole business with Trunks and Cell helped this sink in.]

I've been... just fine. It's been rather busy, I have to admit. Have you been well, Goku?

[He heard about the draft and he still didn't like it and worried about Nataku but... It's not the first time Nataku had to leave to go to war, that part is almost normal so Goku just got over it and tried to keep his spirits up until they returned.]

I've been fine too! I was a bit worried about Nataku going to war again, I don't like those, but it's not his first time so I knew he would be fine and I tried to remain happy. I'm glad they all are back anyway, I hope we don't have to go back out there ever again.
