[It's time for some advertisment. Or at least Goku thinks so, honestly speaking the kid isn't the best at managing a restaurant if only because he's, after all, a kid. Still he manages to do a decent job, he opens it everyday at lunch hours at least even if it remains closed the rest of the time... Except when he sleeps in or just forgets about the time when he's playing, then it remains closed for the most part.

Today, though, he's in a responsible mood so he's going to make some advertisment rather than just go and play. Advertising is also a great way to meet new people and make friends in his opinion. That and after a lot of thinking the kid has decided that two working at the restaurant made everything easier than it being just him. He would ask Natsuno but... He doesn't want the other to accept just because he asked him or something, he's sure Natsuno has other things to do anyway.]

Good morning, Luceti!!!

My name's Son Goku and I'm here to invite all of you to Ucchan's Okonomiyaki restaurant, the best okonomiyaki restaurant in the whole village! [And the only one but that doesn't matter.] Even if you don't know what okonomiyaki is you should come and try it! It's one of the best foods in the world, you can have it in any way you want with any flavors you want! You can have a meat okonomiyaki or even a vegetable one if you're the type to like that. [There are weird people everywhere, even people who likes vegetables.] The ingredients are always the best and freshly picked, I go to get them everyday to make sure of that, sometimes I even go twice if I didn't get enough for the day! And it's all free, of course!

The restaurant is right between the flower shop and the clothing shop All Passions, reeeeeally close to the village's square! And it's always open at meal hours and dinner time so if you're ever hungry and want to try something new or you really like okonomiyaki, just drop by! "Customers are always great to have even if there's no money here"!

[The last part sounds more as if he's quoting someone that saying something he really thinks, mostly because Goku doesn't really know yet what money is, it's what happens when you live in a place without money and are sent to another place without money.]

Also, right now Ucchan isn't in Luceti so it's just me taking care of the restaurant. I'm not as good as Ucchan is when making okonomiyaki but I'm still pretty good! Making okonomiyaki is really fun because you never know what the customer is going to ask for and I'm very nice and friendly, I think. So if anyone wants to learn how to make okonomiyaki or wants to help with the restaurant just ask me! Taking care of the restaurant was easier when it was two of us working there and it was less lonely at the hours when there aren't customers, so I would really like to have someone working there. It doesn't matter if you have never made okonomiyaki or if you can't cook, I can teach you! Or you can just help with serving and cleaning, that's enough too.

[With that the kid closes the message, satisfied with his work and convinced that this will attract customers or something. After all everyone likes to eat, right? And even if the 7th Heaven's food is also great it's nice to change a bit from time to time.]

[Today Goku has decided to not spend any minute playing outside. Instead he will be at the restaurant during meal hours or running around the village when it's not a time when customers normally come. He's not playing though, instead he's carrying a backpack full with hand-made pamphlets and handing one to everyone he crosses paths with, coupled with a bright and wide smile and a cheerful voice.]

Please, come visit Ucchan's Okonomiyaki!! We will love to see you there and feed you!

[He doesn't bother people for long unless they talk back to him, at least, running towards another person as soon as he has delivered his message.]

[Goku blinks a bit confused at that and looks at Natsuno.]

Eh? What can't I have?

All of that, what you were talking about.. it wasn't real, right? Just something caused by this place. [ which is why he doesn't like it. ]

That's why you shouldn't think about it too much.

But it was real! It ended but it was real while it lasted. And even if it ended I still got a family, I still got Mama and Papa and even if they left now I have niisan. I know it's not the same, because I wasn't born because any of you particularly wanted me to be born. But I know Ucchan and Ryoga-nii didn't want me to stop existing, they wanted me here with them and cared for me. And niisan doesn't want me to stop existing either, right?

So I can still have most of it, maybe not all but I got the most important parts, right? Because even if I had been born because someone wanted me to exist, if there's no one around that wants me to continue existing, that's even worse than having been born without no one wanting me to exist!

[He explains himself so clearly...]

[ ... Goku, why. :| Even having to think of people as 'people who don't want me to stop existing' is.. pretty sad, isn't it? But that's exactly why Natsuno doesn't really retort to begin with, he just pokes a little more at his food before - almost idly - giving the boy a slight hair ruffle instead. ]

Whatever makes you happy.

[Goku doesn't think of it as sad, it's natural, isn't it? There are people who don't want him to exist, and there are some that want him to exist and then there's people who just don't care because they don't know him... Normally those tend to end not wanting him to exist either but that's another thing. He may not understand why entirely, even though he suspects that it's because of those terrible things he did in Heaven, even though he doesn't know what he did. But there are many things he doesn't understand so it's fine either way.

The kid stares at Natsuno as he ears before he blinks curiously.]

Are you happy?

[ .. What kind of question is that suddenly, Goku!! As if he can just normally answer to that, it's something that he keeps to himself a lot of the time. Besides, there's a lot of things to be unhappy about right now, but even so he can't.. exactly bring himself to feel unhappy, per se. And even if he did, he wouldn't be able to say it to this boy's face. ]

I'm fine.

But you can be fine and not be happy. Are you happy?

[Leaning forward to look at you.]

[ not answering. :| ]

Why are you getting that close to me? Trying to figure out something?

[Leans forward a bit more, looking intently at his face with a small frown.]

Yeah, I'm trying to figure if you're happy. I still can't read you as well as I could read Konzen.

Hm, sounds like a tough job.

[ Fine, fine, he'll just let the boy do just that as he goes to finish his food.. happy now? ]

[No, not happy because he still doesn't know.]

Why is it tough?

[ goku why..!! ]

Because it's not easy to figure me out. That's why you can't do it yet like you said just now.

[He nods a bit and then opens his mouth again. Ready for what comes next?]

Why don't you want to be figured out?

[A heartbeat and...]

Why don't you want me to figure you out?

[Yeah, that sounds like a better question, lets forget others.]

[ .. ARGH WHY. It's true that he actually just wants nobody to figure him out, he's fine the way he is, just by himself, especially when he's supposed to be dead, but.. how is he going to explain that to Goku of all people? ]

Why do you want to figure me out then? [ come on, natsuno, just.. stay cool.. ]

Because I am your little brother, of course.

[After all, you're his niisan, Natsuno.]

I want to be able to figure you out so I know what you like and what you don't, so I don't do anything you don't like or that would make you angry and go far away. And so that I can do what you like so you can be a bit happier or a bit more fine whenever you're unhappy or not fine.

.. Then there's no need to figure me out after all.

[ Another piece of mouth goes into his mouth, at least swallowing before speaking on. ]

You couldn't do anything I wouldn't like.

Why not?

[He frowns a bit, that doesn't match what he was thinking.]

[ Does he.. really.. need to say this.. okay, he grits his teeth, practically mumbling through them to himself.. ]

I wouldn't find it annoying if it was you who did it.

[Tilting head. No, sorry, he's not getting it.]

[ Goku whyyy.. he can't.. say this.. directly..

Okay, just focus on eating. Don't look at the boy, Natsuno, just pretend you're sitting here alone and eating.. ]

[But he can't get it! It's not his fault! Maybe it's his fault for not connecting the dots and realize that it's the same but inversed regarding what Natsuno can do and Goku's view on it. But he's a kid after all, he may have deep moments but connecting dots usually isn't his thing unless it's to make a drawing.

And so he keeps staring at Natsuno silently.]

[ have a long pause then, Goku, he really can't say it.. ]

... The food's good. [ He says it to break the silence after a looong time, really. ]

Do you want more?

[He smiles, though he's still staring.]

[ Nope, we're going to talk about this distracting stuff now!! ]

A little bit should be fine. You have to save some for the other customers too.

Don't worry! I always bring enough for all the customers and then add some more so I can make food for you.

[He smiles as he starts working on another okonomiyaki for Natsuno.]
