My name's Son Goku, pleased to meet ya! I take care of the okonomiyaki restaurant near the fountain, if you haven't ever had any you should come and give it a try, I promise it's really tasty and good! Ucchan's Okonomiyaki restaurant always has the best okonomiyaki in the village.

[Let's ignore the fact that it's the only place with okonomiyaki in the menu.]

Ah, I also wanted to ask if there are any home tutors or something available. [There's a bit of a long pause before he resumes.] Long time ago I asked for help because I wanted to keep learning and getting better at writing and reading and maths and other things, but... Most of the people who offered to help and helped me have been sent back to their worlds. I want to learn more, niisan says I'm getting better with my handwriting but I know it's still messy and there are still many words I don't know how to write well and many difficult words to read in books.

But I don't wanna go to the school. So no school, but I want help to learn more, pretty please! I can make delicious okonomiyaki for you in exchange!

[Making the deal sweeter with food, that should work, right?]

[At early evening, Goku closes the restaurant, deciding that he has worked enough for the day. After that the kid will be seen around playing by himself despite the cold, making orange paper airplanes and throwing them around before chasing after them. At least until droids appear and attack the kid, knocking him out before he can do much more besides scream and dragging him away.]

[It's time for some advertisment. Or at least Goku thinks so, honestly speaking the kid isn't the best at managing a restaurant if only because he's, after all, a kid. Still he manages to do a decent job, he opens it everyday at lunch hours at least even if it remains closed the rest of the time... Except when he sleeps in or just forgets about the time when he's playing, then it remains closed for the most part.

Today, though, he's in a responsible mood so he's going to make some advertisment rather than just go and play. Advertising is also a great way to meet new people and make friends in his opinion. That and after a lot of thinking the kid has decided that two working at the restaurant made everything easier than it being just him. He would ask Natsuno but... He doesn't want the other to accept just because he asked him or something, he's sure Natsuno has other things to do anyway.]

Good morning, Luceti!!!

My name's Son Goku and I'm here to invite all of you to Ucchan's Okonomiyaki restaurant, the best okonomiyaki restaurant in the whole village! [And the only one but that doesn't matter.] Even if you don't know what okonomiyaki is you should come and try it! It's one of the best foods in the world, you can have it in any way you want with any flavors you want! You can have a meat okonomiyaki or even a vegetable one if you're the type to like that. [There are weird people everywhere, even people who likes vegetables.] The ingredients are always the best and freshly picked, I go to get them everyday to make sure of that, sometimes I even go twice if I didn't get enough for the day! And it's all free, of course!

The restaurant is right between the flower shop and the clothing shop All Passions, reeeeeally close to the village's square! And it's always open at meal hours and dinner time so if you're ever hungry and want to try something new or you really like okonomiyaki, just drop by! "Customers are always great to have even if there's no money here"!

[The last part sounds more as if he's quoting someone that saying something he really thinks, mostly because Goku doesn't really know yet what money is, it's what happens when you live in a place without money and are sent to another place without money.]

Also, right now Ucchan isn't in Luceti so it's just me taking care of the restaurant. I'm not as good as Ucchan is when making okonomiyaki but I'm still pretty good! Making okonomiyaki is really fun because you never know what the customer is going to ask for and I'm very nice and friendly, I think. So if anyone wants to learn how to make okonomiyaki or wants to help with the restaurant just ask me! Taking care of the restaurant was easier when it was two of us working there and it was less lonely at the hours when there aren't customers, so I would really like to have someone working there. It doesn't matter if you have never made okonomiyaki or if you can't cook, I can teach you! Or you can just help with serving and cleaning, that's enough too.

[With that the kid closes the message, satisfied with his work and convinced that this will attract customers or something. After all everyone likes to eat, right? And even if the 7th Heaven's food is also great it's nice to change a bit from time to time.]


[Today Goku has decided to not spend any minute playing outside. Instead he will be at the restaurant during meal hours or running around the village when it's not a time when customers normally come. He's not playing though, instead he's carrying a backpack full with hand-made pamphlets and handing one to everyone he crosses paths with, coupled with a bright and wide smile and a cheerful voice.]

Please, come visit Ucchan's Okonomiyaki!! We will love to see you there and feed you!

[He doesn't bother people for long unless they talk back to him, at least, running towards another person as soon as he has delivered his message.]

[The message is sent in the morning after the kid wakes up and he's still lazing around the living room of the apartment.]

Ne, ne, today is April 9th, right? I didn't mess up with the calendar, did I? Everyone was talking we lost a day the last week and I couldn't remember so I went ahead and took off a sheet from the calendar, so today is the 9th, isn't it?

Ah, but if that's not it then it's the 8th? Then today is my birthday! Or it was yesterday, I don't know. But i doesn't matter because now I'm an adult!

[Goku laughs proudly. Yes, he's so much of an adult! Because now he's two years old, see? Now he has yearS, in plural, like all the adults do.]

Niisan said that all adults are irresponsible and don't need to sleep much so now that I'm now I can stay up late playing and drawing!!

[Such a mature mindset. Anyway, let him think if there's anything else he wants to say or ask. Ah, right.]

Ah! Before I forget! There's going to be a festival, right? This Saturday, the Starfish Festival, I think. Anyone knows if I can have an okonomiyaki stand? I could cut the okonomiyaki so it has a star shape! It will be delicious! And tons of fun, I love the festivals here, there aren't boring speeches like in Heavens. And there's no people who badmouths my friends, too...

By the way, anyone knows what's a "pedophile"? One of my friends was called that once, I'm sure it's something bad but I don't really get it.

[He will stop rambling at Luceti's ears for now. But before he leaves he spends a bit more of time making a pretty drawing-advertisment. Okay, the "pretty" part is subjective.

After that he will be at the okonomiyaki restaurant for anyone who wants to eat or pay a visit to him.]

[Goku's pretty sure he has never seen the village so full with people. Looking through the window of his apartment he stared at all the people roaming the streets... With so many people someone was bound to be hungry and search for a restaurant. It would have been a perfect business chance. Normally he would have jumped and ran through the door, going to the okonomiyaki restaurant and opening it for all the customers to come in.

But he still didn't feel he could do it. Even with Hakkai's help, he just couldn't open the place. Not without ending being a crying mess because he still could see her, as clear as he could see himself in the mirror, being there, cooking like always before she suddenly vanished even while he was watching her. Ukyo vanished and there was not enough innocence or stupidity in the world for him to cling to the thought that she had just gone somewhere herself. He can't open the restaurant and for once he's not in the mood of going out to play... So many people but no Ukyo. It wasn't fair.

Wait. No Ukyo? How could he be sure of that? There were so many people... Maybe she was back as well! Or even Sanzo and Gojyo, or Nataku! That's right, he couldn't know, maybe they were there, confused and surrounded by all that people... Goku jumps and runs through the door. Moments later there'll be a running monkey all around the village and yelling at the top of his lungs.]

Ucchan!! Sanzo!! Gojyooo!! Nataku!! Are you here?!

[He will also bother anyone who stops to listen to him, just in case anyone had seen them.]

Ne, ne! Have you seen my friends?

[This past week, anyone trying to go to the okonomiyaki restaurant would find it closed, courtesy of the Malnosso kidnapping the owner and cook. However, that has changed today, today the restaurant is wide open, with a menu sheet on the door for everyone to see, it's the same menu as always though a lot of dishes seem to have been stroke out.

Inside there's one little monkey that goes for the name of Goku, doing his best to imitate all the things Ukyo does when she opens the restaurant, like cleaning and tidying up. He'll be more than ready to take food orders and will welcome everyone with a wide smile and a loud 'WELCOME TO UCCHAN'S OKONOMIYAKI RESTAURANT!'. Anyone feels daring enough to try this kid's food? Don't worry it's not poisonous, he can cook, but don't expect anything too complicated.]


[Later, in the afternoon, the journals will be greeted with a curious kid.]

Ne... Is Ucchan back yet?

[Rhetoric question, kind of, if she's back she will answer if not... Well, he won't get an answer, obviously. After a while more will be added to the feed.]

Does anyone know where can I get a home tutor? They are like teachers, right? Teach you things on your own, I don't wanna go to school but I wanna learn more things. Ginia-neesan is always writing but I'm still no good at understanding what she writes, I want to get better! Also I want to learn to write better to write to her too, she has a pretty handwriting! Ange-neesan too. And, and I want to write a letter to my friends. But if I do it now I'm sure Konzen will get angry because it's messy. I want to learn more than that too, so they will be impressed when they come here! So... Where can I get one of those home tutors? Please?

Ah! Also, how do you know if your flowers are thirsty? My Cosmos flowers are still babies inside their seeds so I can't look at them to know if they are thirsty or not.... I don't think I could know just by looking at them anyway, but the dirt in the pot seems dry. But I don't want to drown them! When I'm not thirsty I know I can't drink even another drop of water!

Oh, Ucchan's okonomiyaki restaurant is open again. I can take care of it while Ucchan is gone, I can't cook much but I'll do my best to make you delicious okonomiyaki!!

[The journal feed starts in a messy way, mostly a bunch of sounds that don't make sense and lots of static, when it calms down what's heard is the distant yelling of a kid. Goku's wandering aimlessly, arms stretched and eyes wide open, but it's not working well.]

Ucchan!!! Ucchaaan!! Ryoga!!! I can't see! Why is the light off? It's too dark, I can't- ack!

[Guess who's getting to know intimately the ground after falling. Not that it takes long for him to stand up and wander again.]

Ucchaaan!! Terra-neesan!! Someone?! I want to go back home already, turn on the lights!

[Goku's back from his mallynapping, and he's not in a good shape. There's actually lots of coughing as he talks, a coughing that doesn't sound healthy at all. He's also apparently blind as the sun is high up and there's more than enough light to see. On top of that the kid is also specially confused and not just about being lost and blind, and he's as tall as doll, he wasn't that tall before but now it's plain ridiculous.

Anyone willing to help a poisoned, blind, confused and doll-sized kid before he is eaten by a bird or something?]

And I'm hungry!

Ne! Ne! Summer is tons of fun, isn't it? I think it's my favorite season so far! I loved spring with all the flowers around but summer also has flowers and it has many other things!

Like... Watermelons, soumen, ice-cream, shaved ice, salted sweetfish, gelidium jelly... [Isn't all that food?] And many other things! Like going on a camping trip and sleep in a tent! [While there's a downpour.] And the amusement park!! I want to ride all the things there! And there's the beach too! [You can go to that at any time of the year, kid.] I don't want summer to end!!

What about you all? Do you like summer? What do you like the most about it? I want to know if there's anything I'm missing! What does summer mean for you??

[There's a kid walking slowly around the streets, he wobbles and trips at times, but he keeps moving. His appearance is a real mess, he's dirty, full of mud and looking very much as if he had been out and without an umbrella during yesterday's rainfall. He isn't paying much attention to where he's going, or what or who he bumps into, mumbling a soft sorry before he continues his way.

It feels strange inside. It has stopped hurting as the days went by with him unable to find Hakkai, but he doesn't feel well either. It feels as when he's hungry, but he isn't sure how to fill that gap. Sure, he is also hungry now, if the growling stomach is any indication -no, people of Luceti, that's not a lion trotting around the village and roaring, it's just a hungry monkey-, but he knows it's not only that. He feels hungry in the chest too, where it hurt before.

He probably end at Seventh Heaven, he should go with Ukyo but he's worried about seeing her now looking like this. She probably won't like it, maybe she's angry that he left to begin with. So he just sits there, dirty and hungry, waiting for someone to ask him what he wants to eat before he starts munching the table.

Eventually he will open the journal and ask a question he didn't want to ask.]

How long does it take for someone who leaves Luceti to return here? Anyone knows?

[Isn't it a nice day to take a walk, Luceti? Maybe you're just taking a stroll, maybe you're even on a date, or on your way to your work or daily training routine. Maybe you're even safely tucked in your house or apartment, some of you are probably still getting a good and needed rest after the draft after all.

But no matter where you are or what you are doing, there's a little monkey running wildly all around the village and he has his eyes set on YOU. Be prepared to be intercepted in your path, or interrupted in your rest, or assaulted at your store or have a kid knocking on your door. This monkey is going to be everywhere since early morning, running around with the energy of thousand of blazing suns. And to everyone and anyone he meets, he will address them with the same line and a bright smile before handing them a pamphlet.]

Ne, ne, Kohaku-nee was asking about this the other day so I'm curious now. What's sex? Is it tasty? Where can I get some? The restaurant didn't seem to have any.

[The journal catches sight of... Snow. White, pristine snow... The camera moves trying to take in more of the image and it can be appreciated that the snow isn't as pristine as it seemed as someone has been making snow angels on it. The camera moves again, focusing on a snowman and then on a pile of games and toys. Finally it turns and Goku smiles brightly at it.]

Does anyone want to play with me?!! My name's Goku and I'm at the plaza! Come and play, I have toys and there's tons of snow!!

[What? He was told the journals served to communicate with people, they may as well serve to search for playmates, right? Still he will use the old way of nagging anyone and everyone who hangs around the plaza. After a trip to the item shop the kid got his hands on a lot of games and toys and he's dying to play with them! Surely someone will want to play.

He will also be found hanging around the bakery, apparently wanting to go in but hesitating about it. And at the bar and the Seventh Heaven, going in and out with no care in the world. Hopefully the people working there won't find him too annoying.]

[Have a child running around the streets, Luceti. He's barefoot -which isn't new to him-, only dressed in the white New Feathers pants -not that different from what he's used to though he misses his shirt-, wearing shackles on his wrists, ankles and neck with the short chains on them clinging loudly as he moves -he's used to them now but they are still annoying, why does he have them anyway?- and with a gold diadem peeking out from his wild brown hair -you do not want that diadem to go off-.

After waiting for what seemed for a long time for him -which could be either two hours or several days-, Goku has decided to go search for Konzen, Kenren and Tenpou himself. Whatever was taking them so long to come meet him anyway? Surely Konzen had gotten lazy half the way back and Kenren had gone off to drink sake and Tenpou had gone to read books. That, coupled with his actual state of hunger, would explain why the kid makes a beeline for the bar and later the restaurant, ready to eat and drink whatever he can get. Money doesn't come to his mind as a matter of facts, he has a caretaker anyway, Konzen will pay for him, it will be his punishment for leaving Goku alone so long.

He will probably crash into the library as well, as soon as he notices it as a place full of books, ready to try to dig out Tenpou from there. He will also ask anyone who crosses his path and looks at him even for a second.]

Oi! Have you seen Konzen? Or Ken-niichan, or Ten-chan? I can't find them and I'm hungry and this white stuff is cold.

[Because they have to be here if he's here. It's mere logic. And obviously you have to know what he's talking about apparently. Everyone knows those three after all! Or so he thinks.

Help the lost kid? Or intercept him at the bar and the restaurant before he eats all the food there and drinks all the drinks there.]
